Each year, AusIMM conducts research into the experiences and perspective of women in the resources sector, providing a leading analysis of what’s working well and what needs to change.

In 2023 we broadened our Women in Mining survey to encompass more topics, helping us drive positive outcomes by identifying challenges and opportunities when it comes to Diversity and Inclusion in our industry.

We invited women and men to take part in a survey to share their experiences working in the resources sector. Vital insights from this survey are now available.

Now in it’s fifth year, AusIMM's annual survey has gathered important data to assist in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all women in resources.

In 2022, over 550 participants from around the world helped provide a leading analysis of women’s participation in the resources workforce, exploring what’s working well and what needs to change.

The results were released at AusIMM’s 2022 International Women’s Day Event Series, and provided an overview of where the industry is at, and where the industry needs to be if it is going to attract and retain female workers in the future.
